This district is located in western developmental region in Nepal.This district is expanded up to 2162 sq.km. of the total land of the earth.In the eastern part Chitwan,in the western part Rupandehi,in the northern part Palpa and Tanahun and in the southern part Neighbouring country India's Uttar Pradesh and Bihar is located.Mainly 3 types of geographical regions are located in this district. They are Terai,Inner Terai and High hills.
